Lou-Anne Gribbon is an RP which means she is fully registered with the College of Psychotherapists. Her main office located in Hamilton, Ontario on Locke Street South in the Walk in Medical Clinic and a satellite office in Waterdown, Ontario on Mill Street at the corner of Dundas and Mill. Many of her clients come to see her for help with depression, anxiety, addiction, lack of focus, suicidal ideations, post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship and interpersonal struggles, transitions through difficult life events, or a lack of meaning or direction in life.  Many of her clients have not been able to specifically name what their struggle was, but just had a feeling that something wasn’t right and that they wanted their life to feel more bright and vibrant.

As a therapist, Lou-Anne’s intention is to help people uncover their true potential and lead the life that they are aspiring to live.  She believes that we are all unique in our struggles and unique in our ways of moving through life, and for that reason therapy is tailored and individualized for each client.  Lou-Anne takes a person-centred, solution focused approach to all her sessions and uses different strategies depending on the person.
Lou-Anne’s education includes a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster, and a Diploma in Addictions from McMaster as well.  As a member with OACCPP her clients are often able to claim their sessions under their extended medical benefits or as a medical expense on their taxes.  She upholds strong ethics in her practice and regularly does research and training sessions to keep herself learning and improving as a therapist.
Lou-Anne feels that it has been her honor to work with the individuals, and couples that have been her clients to this date, and is looking forward to continuing to serve existing and new clients.
